Czech Embassy in Amman Marks National Day with Diplomatic Reception

Amman: The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Amman hosted a reception on Tuesday evening to celebrate the Czech National Day. In presence were Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Dr. Nancy Namrouqa, alongside a number of officials, members of the diplomatic corps, and representatives of the social and official sectors.

According to Jordan News Agency, Czech Ambassador to Jordan Andrea Kucerov¡ emphasized the solid foundation of Jordanian-Czech relations, highlighting mutual trust and respect. She noted the openness and appreciation experienced during her meetings with senior Jordanian officials. Kucerov¡ described Jordan as a reliable and important partner for the Czech Republic in politics, defense, security, and business, acknowledging Jordan's constructive role in the Middle East and its close alliance in addressing regional challenges.

Kucerov¡ reiterated her country's commitment to supporting Jordan through humanitarian aid and development cooperation, recognizing the nation's efforts in hosting a large number of refugees. She extended gratitude to the Jordanian government, the embassy's institutional partners, members of the diplomatic community, and the Czech expatriate community for their cooperation and support, which have eased her and her son's transition to life in Amman.

The event featured a jazz performance by renowned Czech musician Matej Benko, who played a selection of compositions that contributed to the evening's distinguished atmosphere.
