Zarqa: The "Qatrah Ghaith" educational initiative honored its volunteers on Saturday in recognition of their efforts to support students and enhance the educational process during a ceremony at the King Abdullah II Cultural Center.
According to Jordan News Agency, Haifa Al-Dughmi, Director of Zarqa Youth Directorate, highlighted the significance of youth initiatives as a key resource for harnessing the energy of young people and strengthening the values of giving and social responsibility. She commended the initiative's significant impact in providing academic support to students whose circumstances had otherwise hindered their education.
Mohammad Al-Zoubi, Director of Zarqa Culture Directorate, explained that integration between the culture and youth sectors acts as a fundamental pillar for consolidating national identity and raising community awareness. He stressed the importance of voluntary initiatives in translating this awareness into developmental programs and projects that benefit society.
The ceremony featured a lecture by activist Qusayr Al-Osaili on education in the Prophet's biography, alongside presentations of local success stories and a discussion paper highlighting the primary challenges facing the education sector.
