Petroleum and Mineral Resources Minister Tarek el Molla discussed with Iraq’s Deputy Prime Minister for Energy and Minister for Energy Affairs and Oil Hayan Abdul-Ghani and his accompanying delegation ways of boosting cooperation between the two sides and its extension to include Jordan as well, and Egypt’s keenness to continuously strengthen this tripartite cooperation across various fields.

Hayan stressed his interest in participating in the Egypt International Energy Conference as an important event in the region, noting his country’s support for joint cooperation with Egypt and its aspiration to increase the scope of Egyptian companies’ business in the Iraqi market through the available bids and job opportunities, especially in the field of oil and petrochemical projects.
