AMMAN: The electricity load recorded on Monday evening reached 4,040 megawatts, as reported by the National Electric Power Company (NEPCO). The company has assured that the national grid is well-prepared to meet the increasing demand for electricity during the upcoming winter season.
According to Jordan News Agency, NEPCO Director-General Sufian Bataineh confirmed that the company has implemented suitable operational plans to ensure the national grid's capability. This includes the readiness and capacity of power generation stations, transformation stations, and the overall transmission network to accommodate the anticipated rise in energy demand. The measures are part of NEPCO's strategy to maintain a stable electricity supply during peak periods.
