EMRC Sets November Fuel Price Difference Tariff at Zero.

Amman: The Board of Commissioners of the Energy and Minerals Regulatory Commission (EMRC) convened on Thursday and decided to set the fuel price difference tariff in the electricity bill for November at zero. Chairman of the EMRC Board of Commissioners, Ziad Sa'aida, stated that the tariff remains unchanged from the current month of October. According to Jordan News Agency, this decision by the EMRC Board of Commissioners ensures that consumers will continue to pay the same amount for electricity services in November as they did in October, without any additional charges related to fuel price fluctuations. The continuity of the zero fuel price difference tariff reflects the commission's ongoing strategy to stabilize electricity costs for consumers. Ziad Sa'aida emphasized that this measure aligns with the EMRC's commitment to maintaining consistent tariff policies and safeguarding consumers against unexpected increases in their electricity bills. The agency will continue to monitor fuel prices and make ad justments as necessary to ensure the stability of electricity tariffs in the future.
