Firefighters Extinguish Fuel Tanker Blaze in Amman’s Madouna

Amman: Firefighters extinguished a blaze that broke out in a fuel tanker loaded with gasoline in the Madouna area on Wednesday evening, a spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) said.

According to Jordan News Agency, firefighting teams from the East Amman Civil Defense Directorate brought the fire under control and prevented it from spreading to nearby areas, the spokesperson added.

Paramedics administered first aid to two people who sustained various burns. One injury was described as severe and the other as moderate, and both were evacuated to a hospital for necessary treatment.

Competent authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
