FM and Bahraini Counterpart Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Ties and Regional Security

Amman: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Ayman Safadi held a phone call with Bahraini Foreign Minister Abdullatif Al Zayani. The two ministers discussed the fraternal relations between the two kingdoms and affirmed their commitment to enhancing these ties, focusing on the progress achieved in their bilateral relations to serve their shared interests.

According to Jordan News Agency, the conversation also covered regional developments, including efforts aimed at ending escalation, restoring calm, and achieving security and stability in the region. A significant point of discussion was ensuring the freedom of maritime navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.

Safadi and Al Zayani addressed several mutual concerns and explored prospects for strengthening joint Arab action. They agreed to continue bilateral coordination and consultations, as well as cooperation within regional and international multilateral organizations, on both regional and international issues.
