FM, Turkish Counterpart Discuss Developments in Syria and Gaza.

Amman: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Ayman Safadi and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan discussed during a phone call on Tuesday developments in Syria, efforts to end the Israeli aggression on Gaza, and Jordanian-Turkish ties. Safadi also engaged in a telephone conversation with the UN Secretary-General's Special Envoy for Syria, Geir Pedersen, to address the situation in Syria. According to Jordan News Agency, Safadi emphasized the importance of combined efforts to achieve a political resolution to the Syrian crisis. He highlighted the necessity for a solution that maintains Syria's unity, sovereignty, and the safety of its citizens, eliminates terrorism, and establishes the appropriate conditions for the voluntary repatriation of refugees.
