Foreign Ministry SG Meets NATO Official Ahead of Opening Diplomatic Liaison Office in Amman

Amman: Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Ambassador Dhaifallah Fayez on Tuesday met at the ministry headquarters with Javier Colomina, the NATO Secretary-General's Special Representative for the Southern Neighbourhood, and his accompanying delegation, who are visiting the Kingdom for the opening of the NATO Diplomatic Liaison Office in Amman.

According to Jordan News Agency, Jordan and NATO signed an agreement on June 12, 2025, to host the alliance's diplomatic liaison office in the Jordanian capital. The office is intended to strengthen diplomatic communication and political dialogue between the Kingdom and the alliance.
