Paris: French President Emmanuel Macron announced on Wednesday that France may recognize the State of Palestine in June during a conference on Palestine that will be co-chaired by France and Saudi Arabia in New York.
According to Jordan News Agency, in an interview with France 5 broadcast on Wednesday, Macron stated, "We must move toward recognition, and we will do so in the coming months," adding that "our goal is to co-chair this conference with Saudi Arabia in June, where we can achieve the mutual recognition of Palestine with several parties."
