Gaza: Israeli occupation forces wiped out 2,092 Gaza families from civil registry in their aggression on the Strip, with a total of 5,967 people killed, including the father, mother, and all other members of the households, the Gaza Government Media Office said. It said in an updated report on Tuesday that 4,889 families, including 8,980 members, were exterminated, with only one member alive.
According to Jordan News Agency, since the start of its aggression until January 18, the occupation army has committed 10,100 massacres. A total of 46,960 dead bodies arrived in hospitals, and 14,222 were missing. Among the dead were 12,316 women, 17,861 children, 214 infants who were born and killed during the war, 808 children less than a year of age, 44 died of malnutrition, food shortage or the policy of starvation, and 8 who died of cold in the tents of the displaced, including 7 children.
The report indicated that 1,155 medical staff, 94 civil defense personnel, 205 journalists, and 736 aid workers and police were killed. Additionally, 12,800 male and female students, 760 teachers and education employees, 150 scientists, academics, and university professors lost their lives in the Israeli war.
The report highlighted that 110,725 people were wounded and transferred to hospitals. Among them, 15,000 required long-term rehabilitation, and there were 4,500 amputations, with 18 percent being children. It noted that 12,700 wounded people and 3,000 patients needed to travel out of Gaza for treatment, along with 12,500 cancer patients who needed urgent care.
The report also stated that 38,495 children live without their parents or a parent, and 3,500 children faced death due to malnutrition and food shortages. It stressed that 60,000 pregnant women were at risk due to a lack of healthcare, as well as 350,000 chronic patients affected by Israel's ban on medicine.
The Media Office reported that Israeli forces dropped 100,000 tons of explosives during the war. This led to the complete destruction of 161,600 housing units, partial damage to 194,000, demolition of 823 mosques, with 158 others needing restoration, and the complete destruction of 216 government buildings. Additionally, 137 schools and universities were destroyed, 357 were damaged, and 3 churches were targeted. Furthermore, 19 cemeteries were raised, and 2,300 bodies were stolen from them.
