Gaza strip: Thirty-nine people were killed and 491 wounded in Israeli bombing across the Gaza Strip in the last 24 hours, the Gaza Health Ministry said on Saturday. That took to 61,369 the death toll from Israel's aggression, which began on October 7, 2023, and the total number of injuries climbed to 152,850, amid dire humanitarian conditions and exacerbated relief and medical services, it said.
According to Jordan News Agency, the ministry reported that many of the victims were trapped under the rubble of bombed-out buildings and on the streets, with ambulances and civil defense crews unable to reach them. The ongoing conflict has severely strained the region's ability to provide necessary medical and humanitarian aid, further complicating efforts to assist the affected population.
