Khan younis: Local leaders and community figures from Khan Younis and Southern Gaza Strip, along with members of the Khan Younis Families Forum, visited the Jordanian Field Hospital South Gaza/10 on Monday. The visit was in recognition of the hospital's ongoing humanitarian and medical services to Palestinians in the enclave.
According to Jordan News Agency, the visit was also to express appreciation for a recent medical supply convoy that arrived in Gaza to support the hospital's operations. The hospital's commander welcomed the group and stated that the medical services provided by the facility are in line with Royal directives, which are part of Jordan's humanitarian commitment toward Palestinians in Gaza. He assured that the staff will continue to deliver essential healthcare services to the people of Gaza.
The local figures praised the Royal humanitarian initiatives, particularly noting the treatment provided to 2,000 children from Gaza in Jordan, the "Restoring Hope" initiative for amputees, and the recent supply of 1,000 prosthetic limbs to the field hospital. These initiatives, they noted, are a testament to Jordan's enduring support for the Palestinian people, aimed at alleviating the suffering of the injured and restoring hope to thousands of families across the Gaza Strip.
