Global Outcry as Nations Condemn Israeli Bombing of Doha

Doha: The international community has unified in condemning the Israeli aggression against the Qatari capital, Doha, expressing unwavering solidarity with Qatar and advocating for its sovereignty and stability. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was among the first to denounce the attack, describing it as a brutal and flagrant violation of Qatar’s sovereignty. Saudi Arabia vowed full support for Qatar and called on the international community to take a stand against such violations.

According to Union of OIC News Agencies, Bahrain swiftly condemned the attack, labeling it a breach of international law and expressing full solidarity with Qatar. The Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs urged for calm to maintain regional peace. Similarly, Egypt also expressed strong condemnation, highlighting the aggression as a stark violation of international principles that respect state sovereignty.

Jordan joined the chorus of condemnation, describing the Israeli actions as a blatant attack on Qatar’s sovereignty and a violation of international norms. Morocco, in alignment with other nations, voiced its strong denunciation and affirmed its support for Qatar’s territorial integrity. Trkiye and Iran added their voices, criticizing the aggression as indicative of expansionist policies and a breach of the UN Charter.

Pakistan’s Prime Minister, Shehbaz Sharif, characterized the attack as an unjustified provocation threatening regional stability, while Malaysia condemned it as a grave breach of international law. Indonesia and the UN Secretary-General António Guterres echoed similar sentiments, emphasizing the threat to regional peace and security.

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Arab League also condemned the aggression, underscoring the dangerous escalation it represents. European leaders, including those from France, the UK, Italy, Spain, and Germany, reinforced their opposition to the attacks, calling for diplomacy and respect for international law.

Other countries, such as Austria, Norway, Australia, Japan, and China, also voiced their concerns, condemning the attack and stressing the importance of respecting Qatar’s sovereignty. The widespread international response highlights the global consensus against the Israeli actions in Doha, urging for a return to diplomatic dialogue and peaceful resolution.
