Amman: Minister of Government Communications, Dr. Mohammad Momani, on Tuesday engaged in discussions with World Health Organization (WHO) Representative in Jordan, Dr. Iman Shanqiti, focusing on enhancing cooperation in the communication and media fields. This collaboration aims to deliver awareness messages to various segments of society.
According to Jordan News Agency, the meeting resulted in an agreement to develop a media and communication plan centered on national health sector priorities. The plan is intended to provide citizens with accurate information.
A ministry statement highlighted that the collaboration would bolster joint efforts to raise community awareness and tackle health challenges, with a primary focus on smoking.
