Amman: Minister of Government Communication and Government Spokesperson Mohammad Momani on Thursday marked the 57th anniversary of the Jordan News Agency (Petra), highlighting its role in documenting national achievements and delivering professional news coverage.
According to Jordan News Agency, Momani shared a statement on the X platform where he described the state news agency as a reliable reference for journalists, researchers, and citizens. He noted its nearly six-decade history as an integral institution in the country's media landscape.
Momani expressed appreciation for the agency's staff and their contributions. He emphasized Petra's ongoing mission to provide objective reporting and project the government's official perspective both regionally and internationally.
