Gradual Rise in Temperatures Forecast Through Wednesday

Amman: Temperatures are expected to rise slightly on Monday while remaining below their average levels for this time of year. The weather will be moderate in most areas and hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with low-level clouds appearing over northern and central parts of the Kingdom. Winds will be moderate northwesterly. According to Jordan News Agency, a further slight rise in temperatures is forecast on Tuesday. The weather will be moderate in the highlands and plains, relatively hot in the Badia, and hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with moderate northwesterly winds. Temperatures will continue to rise on Wednesday, bringing relatively hot conditions to most areas and hot weather in the Badia. The Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba will experience very hot conditions, with moderate northwesterly winds. On Thursday, temperatures will drop slightly, with moderate weather prevailing across most areas. Conditions will remain hot in the Badia, the Jordan Valley, the De ad Sea, and Aqaba. Winds will be moderate northwesterly. Today, maximum and minimum temperatures in eastern Amman will range between 31°C and 21°C, compared with 29°C and 19°C in western Amman, 27°C and 17°C in the northern highlands, 26°C and 16°C in the Sharah Mountains, 34°C and 22°C in the Badia, and 30°C and 21°C in the plains. Temperatures in the northern Jordan Valley will range between 38°C and 25°C, the southern Jordan Valley between 40°C and 27°C, the Dead Sea between 39°C and 26°C, and Aqaba between 39°C and 27°C.
