Jordan and Bahrain Foreign Ministers Discuss Bilateral Relations and Regional Stability

Amman: Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Ayman Safadi received a phone call Monday from Bahraini Foreign Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani and discussed the two countries' ties. They exchanged views on regional developments, the repercussions of the ongoing escalation, and efforts to restore calm and promote security and stability in the region.

According to Jordan News Agency, Safadi and Al Zayani condemned the Iranian attacks on Jordan. Al Zayani expressed that Bahrain stands in solidarity with Jordan and supports all measures it takes to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and stability, as well as the safety of its citizens.

The two ministers also explored issues of mutual interest and prospects for enhancing cooperation and coordination to maintain regional security and stability and strengthen joint Arab action.
