Guterres Criticizes Israeli Airstrikes on Gaza Civilians

Amman: UN Secretary-General Ant³nio Guterres condemned the Israeli airstrikes on Gaza that occurred the previous night, resulting in the deaths of nearly 100 Palestinians, including children, women, and the elderly.

According to Jordan News Agency, Guterres communicated through his spokesperson, St©phane Dujarric, expressing that he "condemns all actions that undermine the ceasefire and endanger civilian lives," and emphasized the importance of adhering to the ceasefire agreement terms.

He stressed that actions harming civilians or hindering humanitarian efforts "must be avoided." Reports indicate that the airstrikes targeted residential buildings, tents for displaced persons, and schools across the Gaza Strip, leading to more than 100 casualties.
