Hashemite Leadership Central to Jordan’s Stability, Affirms Minister

Amman: Minister of Government Communication, Mohammad Momani, emphasized the pivotal role of Hashemite leadership in sustaining Jordan's strength and stability. During a lecture at the International Affairs Society, Momani described the leadership as the "main and key factor" in maintaining the nation's resilience.

According to Jordan News Agency, Momani, who also serves as the government spokesperson, highlighted additional elements contributing to national strength, such as robust military and civilian institutions and the citizens' awareness of the importance of preserving their country and values. He pointed to the government's extensive fieldwork, including Prime Minister Jaafar Hassan's weekly visits and monthly Cabinet meetings in various governorates, which have positively impacted public perception.

Responding to audience inquiries, Momani reiterated Jordan's commitment to halting Israeli aggression in Gaza, supporting the ceasefire, and ensuring continuous humanitarian aid to the region. He reviewed Jordan's diplomatic initiatives, led by King Abdullah, to garner international support against Israeli actions and reshape Western perspectives that often favor Israel.

Momani stressed Jordan's ongoing political, media, and relief support for Gaza and the West Bank, emphasizing the Palestinian right to an independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital. This stance, he noted, aligns with Jordan's national interests and is crucial for regional peace.

On the topic of Syria, Momani voiced support for a stable and secure Syria with strong institutions and cooperative dialogue. He expressed hopes for a Syria that can maintain controlled borders and foster mutual interests.

Participants at the lecture, including politicians and diplomats, highlighted the necessity for enhanced national media to effectively communicate Jordan's message globally. They advocated for more analytical approaches to regional issues affecting Jordan and encouraged youth engagement in sectors like agriculture and vocational training.
