Hashemite University Climbs 164 Spots in QS Sustainability Rankings

Zarqa: The Hashemite University made a significant leap in the 2026 QS Global Sustainability Rankings, climbing 164 places from last year to 704th globally, and third nationally.

According to Jordan News Agency, the university performed strongly across the three main ranking categories, placing 700th globally in Governance, 629th in Environmental Impact, and 914th in Social Impact. This reflects notable progress among prestigious international universities.

The university stated that the achievement underscores its upward trajectory and development in sustainability, governance, and social and environmental responsibility. This reinforces its position among leading institutions in these vital areas aligned with national visions for modernization and sustainable development.

The achievement also reflects the university's ongoing implementation of a comprehensive strategic plan that promotes a culture of sustainability and develops governance systems in line with highest international standards and practices. This contributes to its regional and global recognition as a leading sustainable university.
