Egypt Healthcare Authority chief Ahmed el Sobki discussed on Sunday 18/8/2024 with CEO of Siemens Health Care Egypt Amr Qandil ways of boosting cooperation in the health care sector in Egypt. The two sides also tackled future visions to activate the protocol signed between the authority and Siemens on the sidelines of Africa Health 2024 forum. Sobki said cooperation with Siemens Health Care will include holding training courses for doctors, radiographers and medical device engineers in all health facilities affiliated with the authority in governorates under the Universal Health Insurance system. He added that the first stage of training will start in September in Canal governorates. He lauded Siemens' efforts UN enhancing partnership between private and public sectors to develop healthcare services in Egypt. Qandil expressed hope of further cooperation with the authority to improve the quality of medical services in line with Egypt's vision 2030 to become a leader in the healthcare sector.
