Irbid: A tragic house fire in the Deir Abi Saeed district, located approximately 25 kilometers southwest of Irbid city, resulted in the deaths of a couple and left their son injured. Specialized firefighting crews from the West Irbid Civil Defense Directorate responded to the incident on Thursday.
According to Jordan News Agency, a media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) reported that the fire erupted in a single room inside the house. The firefighters managed to extinguish and control the blaze, preventing further damage. Paramedics on the scene provided the necessary first aid to the injured son before transporting him, along with his deceased parents, to Princess Raya Government Hospital.
The son is currently receiving treatment at the hospital. Meanwhile, authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the deadly fire.
