Amman: Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission (IACC) has made "significant" progress in measuring integrity, enhancing cybersecurity, and intensifying regional and community cooperation, a report on the achievements of Jordan's ministries and government institutions for last October revealed.
According to Jordan News Agency, the report, issued by the Ministry of Government Communication on Sunday, noted that the commission announced the results of the second cycle of the National Integrity Index 2024-2025. This cycle showed that compliance of Jordan's public entities with national integrity standards increased by more than 14%, compared to the results of the first cycle.
In the areas of cybersecurity and digital transformation, the commission signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Jordan Design and Development Bureau (JODDB). This MoU aims to enhance cooperation in providing cybersecurity services and implementing specialized training courses in future technologies, in accordance with applicable legislation.
The IACC launched a media campaign themed "Digital Integrity: Effective and Sustainable Digital Transformation," emphasizing the importance of integrity in protecting and ensuring the sustainability of digital services.
Moreover, the IACC organized an event titled "Through Cyber Awareness, We Achieve Digital Integrity" in collaboration with the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC).
The report also highlighted the organization of two competitions. The first, themed "Cyber Aware," was a government-level contest with the participation of representatives from 14 ministries and government institutions. The second competition, "Creative Designer," was aimed at creating the best video to disseminate the concepts of digital integrity and cybersecurity.
On the regional and international cooperation front, the IACC participated in the meeting of the Middle East and North Africa Regional Asset Recovery Network (MENA-AREN), held in Jeddah. This meeting aimed at strengthening cooperation and exchanging expertise with international bodies and organizations specializing in combating corruption, money laundering, and asset recovery.
