Amman: The Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Supply has announced the issuance of tenders to procure either 100,000 or 120,000 tonnes of barley and the same quantities of wheat. The ministry has invited interested bidders to participate in the tender process, emphasizing the need to acquire tender documents, which detail the terms and specifications, from its Tenders Department for a fee of JD650.
According to Jordan News Agency, the deadline for submitting bids for barley is set for 2 p.m. next Wednesday, while the deadline for wheat bids is the following Thursday. The ministry has outlined specific eligibility criteria for bidders, requiring them to provide a copy of a valid vocational license and a certified copy of their commercial registration, which should be issued no more than 30 days before the bid opening date.
