Industry Ministry Reminds Public of Consumer Protection Law

Amman: The Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply on Saturday reminded of the consumer protection law, which assures the full rights of consumers against fraudulent or unsafe products.

According to Jordan News Agency, in a statement on the first day of the holy month of Ramadan, the ministry said the law prohibits violation of any of the consumer's rights, including the right to safe and healthy goods or services, complete and correct information of a commodity or service, choice of goods or services without pressure, and to get a receipt or proof of purchase.
