Amman, Information and Communications Technology Association of Jordan (Intaj) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Saudi company, “Glimpse into Future,” to achieve cooperation in studying investment opportunities for Jordanian entrepreneurial companies.
According to an Intaj statement on Saturday, the memo was inked on the sidelines of the “LEAP Tech Conference 2023, which was recently held in Saudi Arabia, in the presence of the Jordanian Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, Ahmed Hanandeh.
The MoU was signed by Intaj CEO, Nidal Bitar, and the director of the Saudi company, Manahi Masoud.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Bitar said the memo “significantly” empowers Jordanian startups to enter the Saudi market and find new investment opportunities.
He pointed out that Intaj will continue its efforts to support Jordanian-Saudi IT sectors’ partnership.
For his part, Masoud stressed the “pivotal” role of the Jordanian IT sector in the region.
