Amman: The representative body of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (RCOG) in Jordan, alongside the Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists at the Jordan Medical Association and the British Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, will commence their second joint conference on Thursday and Friday at Le Royal Hotel in Amman.
According to Jordan News Agency, the conference will feature 32 lectures and scientific papers presented by experts from Jordan, the United Kingdom, and Egypt. Participants include physicians from Jordan, Palestine, and Syria, with a notable attendance of professors and specialists from Britain.
The conference will focus on the latest advancements in early diagnosis of tumors affecting the female reproductive system, developments in surgical treatments using laparoscopic and robotic techniques, and new approaches in fertility and in vitro fertilization (IVF).
Sessions will address critical topics in women's health, including the impact of obesity on pregnancy and childbirth, as well as complications such as recurrent miscarriage and premature birth.
