JERUSALEM: The Israeli occupation army arrested 16 Palestinians during search-and-arrest operations across the West Bank and East Jerusalem, leading to clashes in multiple areas. According to Jordan News Agency, confrontations broke out in Nablus in the northern West Bank when Israeli troops entered the Askar refugee camp amidst gunfire. No injuries were reported during the incident, as stated by the Palestinian Prisoners Club. Additionally, Jewish settlers, under the protection of Israeli forces, attacked Palestinian farms in the village of Nahalin, located west of Bethlehem. They cut down 40 trees, as reported by the local municipality. Nahalin has experienced repeated assaults by settlers, with the latest attack occurring just two days after 70 olive, grape, and almond trees were uprooted by extremists.
