Israeli Forces Arrest 44 Palestinians in West Bank Raids

Jerusalem: Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday arrested 44 Palestinians during a wide-scale campaign of raids across several areas of the occupied West Bank, claiming the detainees were "wanted".

According to Jordan News Agency, the Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) reported that the arrests were carried out in the areas of Qalqilya, Nablus, Tulkarm, Bethlehem, and Hebron.

In a related development, dozens of Israeli settlers stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem through Al Magharibah Gate. This action occurred under heavy protection from Israeli occupation police, as stated by the Jordan-run Jerusalem Islamic Awqaf Department.
