Media Commission Bans Filming During Tawjihi Exams Without Permit

Doha: The Media Commission on Tuesday instructed the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to prevent educational institutions and platforms from conducting any field filming during the General Secondary Education Certificate Examination (Tawjihi) period without obtaining a prior permit from the Commission.

According to Jordan News Agency, the directive was communicated through a letter numbered A.S./1987 dated July 14, 2025, which highlighted the necessity of enforcing this rule throughout the examination period.

The Commission announced that its field teams would actively conduct inspections to verify the presence of filming permits and ensure adherence to the Commission's established regulations and procedures.
