Amman: Israeli occupation forces arrested 15 Palestinians on Monday during a wide-scale raid and arrest campaign across various areas of the occupied West Bank, including prominent journalist Nasser Laham.
According to Jordan News Agency, the Palestinian Prisoners Society stated that Israeli troops stormed multiple areas amid heavy gunfire and detained the individuals. The arrests come amid intensified military operations in the northern West Bank, particularly in Tulkarm and Jenin governorates.
Meanwhile, Israeli bulldozers demolished a four-storey residential building in the village of Khirbet Al-Misbah, west of Ramallah in the central West Bank. Fayez Harfoush, a member of the village council, reported that Israeli forces, accompanied by three bulldozers, raided the village and began demolishing the building, which housed around 50 people. Each floor covered an area of 180 square meters.
He added that the area was declared a closed military zone, with residents barred from approaching. The building had been standing for more than twenty years.
