Jerusalem: Israeli occupation forces on Thursday imposed a curfew on the towns of Biddu and Qatanna, northwest of occupied Jerusalem, while arresting 30 Palestinians and demolishing several homes and a school across the West Bank.

According to Jordan News Agency, the Palestine Red Crescent Society reported that a large number of military vehicles and infantry forces stormed the two towns, imposed a curfew, raided homes, vandalized their contents, and shut down commercial shops. It was noted that several young men were detained, interrogated in the field, assaulted, and some were arrested.

In a separate operation, Israeli forces arrested 30 Palestinians from various areas in the West Bank, including Jerusalem. Among those arrested were former detainees and active community leaders, as stated by the Palestinian Prisoners Society. The arrests occurred in Jenin, Salfit, Tulkarm, Bethlehem, Ramallah, and Hebron.

Since the escalation began in the West Bank, including Jerusalem, over 19,000 arrest cases have been recorded, excluding the thousands of detentions in Gaza.

In related developments, Israeli forces issued a demolition order for Al-Zuwaidin Secondary School, located south of Hebron and east of Yatta. Additionally, occupation authorities demolished dozens of homes belonging to residents of Al-Sir village, situated west of Shaqib Al-Salam in the Negev, an unrecognized community inside occupied Palestine.

The High Follow-Up Committee for Arab Citizens of Israel reported that 25 houses were demolished this morning.

Meanwhile, dozens of Israeli settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque/Al-Haram Al-Sharif compound in occupied Jerusalem under police protection. The Islamic Waqf Department in Jerusalem noted that settlers entered the mosque compound in groups through Bab Al-Maghariba, conducting tours and performing Talmudic rituals under police guard.

During the past week, 604 settlers have entered Al-Aqsa, as calls from Jerusalemites and Palestinians continue for mobilization and presence at the holy site to confront the occupation’s and settlers’ actions.
