Gaza City: At least one Israeli soldier was killed and two others injured Tuesday evening during a security incident in the Shujaiya neighborhood in eastern Gaza City.
According to Jordan News Agency, the Israeli Air Force quickly deployed aerial support for ground forces engaged in the area. Reports indicated that an Israeli military unit was targeted by an explosive device dropped from a drone, resulting in several casualties, including one critically injured.
Intense armed clashes reportedly broke out between Israeli forces and Palestinian resistance fighters in the area. Social media platforms circulated images claiming to show a helicopter evacuating injured soldiers from Gaza to Ichilov Hospital following the incident.
