Secretary-General of the Ministry of Youth, Hussein Jabour, met with the youth taking part in the 9th meeting of joint Jordan-Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Working Group in the youth work, which was organized by the Saudi Ministry of Sports in the city of Jeddah, with the participation of Jordanian youth.

Speaking at the meeting, Jabour stressed the importance of youth dialogue , which reflects the “deep-rooted” Arab relations as an opportunity to communicate and exchange expertise, wishing Arab youth success in the field of youth work.

Jbour also listened to Arab youth’s aspirations and their key priorities at the Arab level, focusing on matters of interest to Arab youth work, according to a ministry statement on Sunday.

He hailed the “distinguished” level at which the Gulf Youth Empowerment Program and the important topics discussed on the youth side, stressing Jordan’s “deep-rooted, brotherly” relations with Saudi Arabia, GCC countries and Morocco in various fields.

Jabour lauded Saudi Arabia’s efforts in inviting Jordanian youth to participate in the program, which is an “important” youth opportunity.

The program comes within the scope of joint pan-Arab action to improve youth conditions related to their social, cultural, economic, environmental and health aspects and raise youth awareness to engage in decision-making and take initiatives to achieve prosperity at all levels.
