JD500,000 Allocated for Infrastructure Upgrades in Tabaqat Fahl

Tabaqat fahl: A JD500,000 allocation has been approved to upgrade roads and infrastructure across Tabaqat Fahl Municipality in the Northern Jordan Valley, targeting street rehabilitation, asphalt works, and improvements to municipal services.

According to Jordan News Agency, Tabaqat Fahl Municipal Committee Chairman Hamza Momani stated that the funding, provided by the Ministry of Local Administration, will be directed toward paving and rehabilitating a number of streets, maintaining existing roads, and addressing locations requiring infrastructure improvements.

The projects will be prioritized according to needs identified by the municipality, with preparations already underway to determine the targeted sites and complete the technical requirements needed to begin implementation.

Momani emphasized that municipal teams will monitor the projects in the field throughout implementation to ensure compliance with technical specifications and that funding is directed toward the areas with the greatest need.

He highlighted the importance of cooperation with the Ministry of Local Administration in securing financing for local development projects, particularly those aimed at improving infrastructure and the quality of services provided to residents.

Tabaqat Fahl Municipality comprises the Mashare' and Sheikh Hussein areas and serves a population of around 60,000. Its administrative jurisdiction covers 62.5 square kilometers, including 6.5 square kilometers within the municipality's zoning boundaries.
