Amman: Jordan Engineers Association (JEA), led by President Abdullah Ghosheh, engaged in discussions with the Council of the Engineers Association Center in Jerusalem, headed by Tariq Zaro, to explore ways to enhance joint institutional and professional cooperation.

According to Jordan News Agency, the JEA emphasized that the meeting demonstrates a commitment to developing mutual relations that serve the interests of engineers and support the advancement of joint engineering initiatives at both the national and regional levels. The dialogue focused on strategic topics aimed at improving the efficiency of engineers and developing technical training programs. These initiatives are intended to empower Palestinian engineering personnel and bolster their resilience.

The expansive meeting also addressed strategies to support collaborative union work and broaden the scope of cooperation in areas such as training, development, and member services. Both parties advocated for ongoing communication and transparency, encouraging efforts to deepen the relationship between the engineers associations in Jordan and Palestine, which aligns with their shared professional and national missions.

The Jerusalem Center expressed its appreciation for the JEA's unwavering support for Palestinian engineers and citizens in various situations. The discussions also covered recent advancements in the JEA's digital transformation, highlighting the necessity of electronically linking the Jerusalem Center to the JEA's central system through the activation of e-payment services and the facilitation of remote service provision.
