Amman: Jordan Enterprise Development Corporation (JEDCO), in cooperation with Export Bahrain (EB), will hold a seminar via Zoom, themed: "Strengthening Economic Relations between Jordan and Bahrain" on Monday, July 6, at 10:00 AM Jordan time. The seminar is part of JEDCO's ongoing efforts to enhance economic cooperation opportunities and open new horizons for Jordanian companies in regional markets.
According to Jordan News Agency, JEDCO has invited Jordanian companies, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), to participate in the seminar to benefit from the information and expertise that will be presented by the two countries' official bodies. The aim is to build business relations to strengthen export opportunities and economic cooperation. The event is part of the joint action plan, based on a memorandum of understanding signed between the two sides, which aims to exchange expertise and organize specialized workshops on issues of interest to SMEs, thus boosting bilateral economic and investment cooperation.
The seminar is a continuation of the success of the first session, which saw engagement from relevant Jordanian official institutions and several Bahraini firms. The upcoming session is scheduled to host a select group of Bahraini official bodies alongside Jordanian companies and establishments from various economic sectors. This event aims to present an opportunity to learn about Bahrain's business environment, export mechanisms, available investment and trade opportunities, and receive responses to inquiries by companies wishing to enter or expand their operations in the Bahraini market.
