A total of 140 poets will participate, alongside exhibitions of fine arts and handicrafts. The event will host folkloric performances from Jordan and other Arab and foreign countries, with shows dedicated to families and children.

The festival, running until August 2, will take place in the ancient city of Jerash at various venues including the Southern and Northern Theaters, the Main Square, the Sound and Light Theater, the Youth and Creativity Theater (Artemis), and Column Street. In Amman, events will be held at the Royal Cultural Center, the Roman Amphitheater, the Hussein Cultural Center, and the Zaha Cultural Center, as well as other locations in several governorates.

Minister of Culture and Chairman of the Festival's Higher Committee, Mustafa Rawashdeh, emphasized the festival's role in conveying Jordan's cultural heritage, promoting cultural tourism, and upholding values of entrepreneurship and creativity. He highlighted the festival's continuity over four decades as a reflection of the Kingdom's stability and security, confirming the event's solid foundation and commitment to serious culture and art, rooted in authentic heritage.

The festival represents a national symbol and a bridge for communication with people, added Rawashdeh. Its message aligns with the comprehensive and sustainable development over the past century, reflecting the Kingdom's humanitarian message and political stance. The festival aims to promote national culture and identity, serve as a platform for intercultural dialogue, and create a space for joy in a volatile world.

Festival executive director, Ayman Samawi, noted that this year's festival will include more than 235 artistic, cultural, and literary events from 37 Arab and foreign countries, held in the ancient city of Jerash and several governorates including Amman, Jerash, Madaba, Irbid, and Zarqa.
