Amman: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Ayman Safadi and Algeria's Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad Ahmed Attaf have jointly called for an immediate cessation of the escalating tension in the region, prompted by Israeli actions against Iran.
According to Jordan News Agency, the two diplomats expressed their disapproval of the Israeli strikes during a phone conversation, labeling them as violations of international law and significant provocations that threaten to further destabilize the region. Both Jordan and Algeria voiced their concerns over the potential catastrophic implications of the aggression.
Safadi and Attaf underscored the critical importance of reducing tensions and resuming negotiations aimed at reaching a consensus on Iran's nuclear issue. They highlighted diplomacy as the sole practical approach to achieving stability in the region.
