Amman: The President of the General Federation of Jordanian Trade Unions, Khaled Fanatseh, and the President of the Free Federation of Bahrain Trade Unions, Yaqoub Mohammed, convened on Sunday to discuss expanding cooperation and strengthening union ties between Jordan and Bahrain. According to Jordan News Agency, the meeting centered on strategies to elevate the Arab union movement. Both leaders emphasized the importance of aligning perspectives and establishing a unified stance on key labor issues impacting Arab workers. The discussion also included sharing union expertise and best practices to tackle challenges faced by labor forces in the region. This collaboration aims to foster a more robust and unified approach to addressing the needs of workers in both countries. In a symbolic gesture marking the enduring partnership between Jordanian and Bahraini trade unions, both presidents exchanged commemorative shields at the meeting's conclusion.
