Jordan and Burundi Forge Diplomatic Ties to Enhance Bilateral Cooperation

Amman: Jordan and the Republic of Burundi have officially signed a joint statement to establish diplomatic relations, marking a significant step towards strengthening friendship and cooperation between the two nations. This agreement aims to institutionalize joint cooperation across political, economic, social, cultural, and scientific fields.

According to Jordan News Agency, the joint statement was signed by Ambassador Mahmoud Hamoud, the Permanent Representative of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to the United Nations, and Ambassador Zephyrin Maniratanga, the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Burundi. The signing ceremony took place at the headquarters of the Jordanian Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York, symbolizing a commitment to fostering collaborative efforts and mutual understanding between Jordan and Burundi.
