Jordan and Italy Join Forces to Enhance Cooperative Training and Skills

Amman: The Jordan Cooperative Corporation (JCC) has entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with the Italian Habibi Valtiberina Association. This partnership is set to advance training, capacity building, and knowledge sharing within the cooperative sector.

According to Jordan News Agency, the agreement was officially signed by JCC Director-General Abdelfattah Shalabi and Mario Cornioli, President of the Habibi Valtiberina Association. The collaboration focuses on enhancing skill development, promoting cooperative culture, and driving sustainable socio-economic growth in Jordan.

The agreement outlines plans for both organizations to conduct joint training programs and workshops. Additionally, it aims to strengthen networking opportunities with local and international partners, fostering a global exchange of ideas and practices.

Shalabi emphasized the importance of the agreement in advancing organizational modernization. He highlighted its significance for the Vocational Training Corporation, which was established under the 2025 Cooperative Law to enhance the skills of staff and cooperative members.

Cornioli expressed the association's commitment to supporting Jordanian cooperatives by sharing expertise and leveraging Italy's experience in cooperative management. This collaboration is anticipated to provide substantial benefits to the cooperative sector in Jordan.
