Jordan and Philippines Engage in Political Consultations in Amman.

Amman: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates and the Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs engaged in a series of political consultations in Amman, focusing on regional and international developments. Ministry Secretary-General Majed Qatarneh met with the Deputy Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the Philippines, Theresa Lazaro, to discuss a range of issues including economic, trade, investment, health, tourism, and education. According to Jordan News Agency, the discussions also addressed efforts to halt the Israeli war on Gaza and Lebanon, alongside the escalation in the occupied Palestinian West Bank. Both parties emphasized the importance of delivering humanitarian aid to Gaza and Lebanon and ensuring the protection of civilians in these areas.
