Amman: The Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) on Wednesday executed a significant airdrop operation involving seven aircraft to deliver much-needed humanitarian aid to Gaza, marking a collaborative effort with several international allies.
According to Jordan News Agency, the operation was supported by two Royal Jordanian Air Force planes, alongside contributions from Germany, the United Arab Emirates, France, and Belgium, resulting in a total of 53 tonnes of aid being delivered. The planes released their cargo from nearly 2,500 feet to ensure the safe arrival of the food aid.
The JAF has been actively involved in delivering relief to Gaza, having completed 142 solo airdrops, with an additional 299 airdrops conducted in cooperation with other countries, showcasing a sustained commitment to international humanitarian efforts.
