Amman: The Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) on Monday executed seven airdrop missions aimed at delivering essential aid and food to Gaza. This initiative, conducted in partnership with several allied countries, aligns with Jordan's ongoing commitment to supporting Palestinians in Gaza.
According to Jordan News Agency, the recent operations involved seven aircraft, including two from the Royal Jordanian Air Force, supplemented by planes from the United Arab Emirates, Germany, France, Belgium, and Canada. These efforts culminated in the delivery of 45 tonnes of humanitarian aid to the region.
The recent activities have increased the total number of airdrops by JAF to 139, with the collective operations involving other nations reaching 289. Altogether, these missions have successfully delivered nearly 305 tonnes of aid since their resumption nearly two weeks ago.
