Jordan Dispatches 16 Helicopters With Aid to Gaza

Amman: As part of Jordan’s ongoing efforts to deliver aid to the Gaza Strip, 16 helicopters departed from King Abdullah II Air Base on Sunday, carrying humanitarian assistance within the framework of the air bridge established last week.

According to Jordan News Agency, the aircraft transported 20 tons of humanitarian and relief supplies in cooperation with the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization and several partner countries, ensuring the aid reaches those in need in the Strip.

The Jordan Armed Forces underscored its commitment to continuing the delivery of humanitarian and medical aid through the air bridge, expediting the transport of critical supplies, particularly medical treatments and equipment, to Gaza.

Since the launch of the air bridge, a total of 56 Jordanian aircraft, including six Italian helicopters, have participated in the operation.
