Amman: The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities has announced a package of relief measures for tourists currently in Jordan who have been unable to travel due to recent regional developments. The initiative is being coordinated in partnership with travel agencies and tourism offices across the kingdom.
According to Jordan News Agency, in an official notice addressed to the Jordan Society of Tourism and Travel Agents, the ministry said it would cover entry fees to archaeological and tourist sites, provide access to necessary tour buses, and offer support for travel arrangements in coordination with Royal Jordanian Airlines and other relevant authorities.
The ministry called on all relevant parties to furnish the operations room with complete details to ensure swift implementation of the proposed measures and coordination.
It also thanked the Society of Tourism and Travel Agents for its continued efforts in supporting stranded tourists, highlighting its valued role in collaborative crisis management and commitment to serving Jordan's guests during a challenging time for the region.
