Jordan took part in the 26th session of the Conference of the Parties of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), which kicked off Monday in Glasgow, Scotland.

Representing the Kingdom at the summit is the Minister of Environment Muawieh Radaideh, who is heading a delegation that includes representatives from various sectors from government institutions, the private sector and civil society organizations.

The Jordanian delegation will participate in all the conference’s meetings and activities, which provides an opportunity to exchange expertise to develop climate action and enhance sustainable development in Jordan and to achieve the national contributions to address climate change and reduce carbon emissions.
