Jordan Participates in Kazan Forum to Boost Agricultural Cooperation, Exports

Kazan: Minister of Agriculture, Khaled Hneifat, is taking part in the Russia-Islamic World Kazan Forum 2025, which kicked off Thursday in Tatarstan with the participation of 103 countries.

According to Jordan News Agency, the forum is a platform for strengthening Russia's economic cooperation and investment with member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). Russia and Tatarstan are using the forum to explore new avenues for collaboration with the Islamic world across various sectors, mainly agriculture, trade, and investment.

One of the forum's major events is the inauguration of the Russia Halal Expo 2025 at the Kazan Expo Center, the largest international exhibition focused on halal industries and investment opportunities. During bilateral meetings held on the sidelines of the forum, Hneifat discussed mechanisms for increasing agricultural trade with participating countries and explored opportunities for enhancing Jordan's presence in Arab, Islamic, and Russian markets.
